The adult class will take several months to discuss Stephen Smallman’s book called, What is a Reformed Church? The junior-high/high-school class will continue through the second half of Mark Dever’s book titled, Message of the Old Testament: Promises Made. Teachers are still needed for the K-4th grade Sunday School classes. A minimum of 2 or more individuals is needed, with 2- person teams rotating the teaching duties each month. Contact Karla Hall if you are able to serve our Sunday School children this year.

Officer nominations: Nominations for new officers will be open for members of RPC during the month of August. Nomination forms will be on the coffee/literature table in the foyer. Please be in prayer about the leadership and future of Redeemer and prayerfully consider men whom you believe would serve well as elders or deacons.

Saturday Morning Men’s Meeting: Beginning in September the Saturday Morning Men’s Meeting will discuss various objections to Christianity and whether there is reasonable evidence for the existence and nature of God as revealed in the Bible. We will be using Tim Keller’s book, The Reason for God, as the basis for our discussion. During the fall, we will discuss Part I of the book, “The Leap of Doubt,” addressing common objections to Christianity. During the spring, the group will discuss Part II, “The Reasons for Faith.” Although we will be utilizing The Reason for God for discussion purposes, it is not required reading–all men are welcome to attend and voice their views and opinions. Please see the page, Saturday Morning Men’s Meeting, for additional information.
